- Let an agent look up and update CRM records during a live call or chat (for example, create a contact or deal, or search a company by property).
- Start calls, messages, or workflows automatically when a record is created or updated in HubSpot.
- Write each conversation back to the matching HubSpot contact: identity, call summary, memory entities, deals, and interaction history.
Install the app
You need a HubSpot user who can install apps (a Super admin, or a user with App Marketplace access) and a Bland account. If you do not have a Bland account yet, the install flow lets you create one.- In the HubSpot App Marketplace, open the Bland listing and click Install app.
- You are taken to Bland. Sign in, or create an account, with your phone number, Google, or SSO.
- Bland shows which workspace the connection will be added to. Click Continue to HubSpot.
- Select your HubSpot account and click Choose Account.
- Review the requested scopes on this screen. Bland requests access to read and write contacts, companies, deals, tickets, tasks, meetings, and notes, to read products, and to read your CRM property definitions so custom properties can be mapped. It does not request access to marketing email, billing, or account settings.
- Click Connect app.
- HubSpot returns you to Bland for one last step. Click Finish connecting. A small window confirms the authorization with HubSpot and closes on its own.
- You are redirected back to HubSpot. The connection is live and appears in Bland under Tools → Connections.
If you are not signed in to HubSpot when you click Install app, HubSpot asks you to sign in first and may email you a confirmation code. That step is HubSpot’s own login verification, not part of the Bland app.
Configure the app
A connection does nothing on its own until you point a Bland feature at it. Configure whichever of the three you need. Give an agent a HubSpot tool- In Bland, open the agent and go to Tools.
- Click Add tool, choose HubSpot, and pick an action, for example Create contact, Create deal, or Search contacts by property.
- Select the HubSpot connection to use.
- Map each input the action needs to a value the agent collects in the conversation (the available fields include your custom properties).
- Save. See Integration Tools for the shared concepts: parameter modes, response variables, and routing on the result.
- Open Dispatch → Triggers and click New trigger.
- Choose a HubSpot event: created or updated for companies, contacts, deals, meetings, tasks, or tickets.
- Select the HubSpot connection.
- Add conditions on the record’s properties (for example, Deal stage equals Qualified).
- Choose the agent that should act and what it should do, then save. See Triggers.
- Open Contacts and choose CRM sync.
- Select HubSpot and the connection.
- Switch on the categories to sync: contact identity, summaries, memory entities, deals, and interaction history. Each is independent.
- Save. See Conversations.
Use the app
- Manual, during a conversation. When an agent reaches a step with a HubSpot tool, it reads from or writes to HubSpot in real time, and the result is available to the rest of the conversation. Every tool call is recorded in the conversation’s log, so you can see exactly what was sent and returned.
- Automated, from HubSpot events. Bland checks HubSpot for new and updated records every few minutes. When a record matches a trigger, the trigger runs: it places the call, sends the message, or runs the workflow you configured. No manual action is required.
- Automated, after each conversation. With CRM sync on, Bland writes the categories you enabled to the matching HubSpot contact when the conversation ends, creating a contact if none matches.
Disconnect the app
If you disconnect your HubSpot account from Bland, agents’ HubSpot tools fail at that step, triggers on HubSpot events stop firing, and CRM sync stops. Existing data stays where it is: records and activity already written to HubSpot remain on your HubSpot records, and conversation records in Bland are kept. Nothing is deleted on either side.
- In Bland, open Tools → Connections.
- Locate the HubSpot connection.
- Click Disconnect and confirm.
Uninstall the app
To uninstall Bland from your HubSpot account, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected apps, locate Bland, and choose Uninstall, as described in this HubSpot Knowledge Base article. Uninstalling revokes Bland’s access to your HubSpot account. Within a few minutes Bland marks the connection as disconnected under Tools → Connections, with the same effects on tools, triggers, and sync described in the previous section. Your HubSpot data is not changed by uninstalling.Need help? Email support@bland.ai or use the chat in the Bland dashboard, and include your workspace name.
